AccuLaser (Pty) Ltd
AccuLaser was founded in 2018 through a collaboration between Philip Meyer and Wolter Miske of Wire Worx—built on a simple idea: there had to be a smarter way to manufacture. With a background in custom joinery, installation, 3D design, and steel detailing, Philip developed a strong foundation in precision work. But over time, it became clear that traditional woodworking demanded significant effort without consistent market value.
At the same time, Wire Worx identified a growing need for high-quality acrylic components to complement their retail mesh and shelving systems.
This led to the purchase of a CO₂ laser cutter and the launch of AccuLaser in a converted garage workshop, using a 1300 × 900 mm machine that remains part of the operation today.
The early days were shaped by experimentation—producing a wide range of laser-cut products inspired by global trends. But one insight changed the direction of the business: real value lies in consistency, efficiency, and scale.
AccuLaser shifted its focus to high-volume manufacturing of Perspex counter displays and retail accessories. Since then, the business has grown into a trusted production partner, with Wire Worx remaining a key client.
Today, AccuLaser is positioned as a scalable B2B supplier—delivering precision manufacturing at volume, while still offering the flexibility to support prototyping and smaller production runs.
